Golf EducationSo, as you know we have all been down the PowerPoint road. I can’t think of a class since about junior year in high school that hasn’t either shown you a PowerPoint of made you make one of those typically boring presentations. The question is, why are they all so boring ( well unless your the kid who played with the font and background for 6 hrs on a Saturday and thought that it actually made your presentation the coolest). Anyways, my point is that I have been going on with the same old PowerPoint. Now, I think I have actually learned how to integrate some techniques into my PowerPoint in order to add not only a little less boringness, but also some usable features. My favorite thing that I did was using the youtube video. It gives a really cool change to the presentation, yet it is in the middle of the presentation. I always thought it looked bad when groups would give presentations and they would have to pull up a video from the Internet in the middle.
As for the actual presentation here is what I was thinking. I decided I would make this as if I was teaching a beginners golf class to younger kids. I actually help with a seminar every year with the Boys & Girls Club so I thought this could be useful in the future. What I decided to do was make this several PowerPoint’s in one. So on my first page all you see is one button on the left. That is because there are several more to come once the other sections are made. My point of this section was to give an intro into what the kids would be learning about golf. Also the reason for the Tiger Woods youtube video was not only to show them what swinging, putting, and chipping looked like, but also to get them excited about the game. I hope it’s good, I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure it all out!!!
Peace,

Love it! Great presentation and I love golf. I’m no good at it, but it’s a great day outside. Can’t wait to see the video.
